I found that when I am tapping all sorts of things come to mind. Sometimes it is memories that are connected to what I am tapping on. Other times it seems like the thoughts are completely random. TOOLS: The Hardest and Most Radical Tapping You Can Do
I was working with a client named "Jane". This is someone who really knows Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT/EvEFT). I said to her, "I have a radical suggestion for you. And you don't need to do it. But it is a thought. I think you need to surrogately tap for both of them!" Her response was a loooong pause, followed by, "OK, I am listening. Why would I do that?

Podcast # 3: What is surrogate tapping and how do I it
Surrogate tapping can be one of the most confusing topics when learning Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT/EvEFT eveft.html). It can be difficult enough to accept that tapping on the body while tuning into physical and emotional issues can provide relief. It becomes a much more difficult leap to believe that tapping in the same way on our own body will provide relief for someone else.

Release the desires you have for the food that is bad for you and gain desires for the food your body needs.

There Is So Much, I Don't Know Where To Begin
I have a lot of issues that I want to use Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT/EvEFT) on, but I don't know where to begin. Should I do the memories chronologically or should I do them is chunks of related issues?

Tap Along Phrases: Not Knowing What To Tap On
There are times when we know Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT/EvEFT), but we don't know where to begin. We are either faced with so many issues our mind jumps from issue to issue or we have so much going on that we can't seem to get a hold of anyone issue to work on.

When Our Change Affects Others
I love EFT and use it a lot. I have found it to be very helpful with small emotional issues and simple physical pains. When it comes to bigger issues I have a concern. I am afraid that if I change the person I am I am going to hurt the people I love. Do you have any advice?

Tools: Journaling
When we leave our thoughts alone in our head they have a tendency to be magnified. The mind serves as an echo chamber (especially in the middle of the night). We can combine Evolving Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT/EvEFT) with a simple task to take the charge out of our thoughts and feelings.

Tap Along Phrases: Our Emotions Are Illogical And Make No Sense
Sometimes the healing process is hampered by our logical mind. We get to the point where me can name our issues, but they make no sense at all. We can logically see how things are different from what our emotions believe. This can be a very difficult point in the healing process because we realize that we can't talk ourselves out of our emotional beliefs that are misguided or wrong. Because we can't logic our way out of something we don't know where to turn and can feel helpless in the healing process.

Tool: Getting Back To That Session That Was So Powerful
There are times when we have very powerful Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT/EvEFT) sessions. When we sit down later to tap we wish there was a way to recapture the healing aspects of that session or continue to work on those issues. It is much easier to do than one would think.

Tap Along Phrases: Need To Know How We Got Here
To work down a path of healing it requires us to take stock of where we are and what issues we would like to heal. One of the questions that come to mind when we do this is, "How did I get here?" This can become a consuming question, even to the point that it distracts us from the healing process itself.

Tool: Let The Subconscious Fill in the Blanks
The most common reason my clients don't do their EFT homework between sessions is, "I don't know what words to say. When I am tapping with you it is so easy. When I am on my own I get stuck." But there is a way for the subconscious to solve this problem for you.

I am very aware of the fact that there are times when we have pain in the body that has an emotional base. There are also times when we just hurt ourselves. I just twisted my knee and it still hurts a few days later. Do I tap in the same with this sort of physical pain as I would for an emotional based pain?

After A Powerful EFT Session
I have found EFT to be a very powerful tool. I have used it to clean up at number of deep emotional issues, but have noticed a number of unusual sensations after doing a session. Sometime I am really tired after a session, while other times I feel a little more emotional than when I started, but wake up the next day feeling like a new person. Are these common experiences? Is it okey to let go of these negative emotions about my past choices?

Using Color With EFT (part 3)
I was on the teleclass you did with Catherine Poole on color and I loved it. But there is still something I am confused about. It sounds like if we are suffering in that part of our body we could tap using EFT and just image that color coming in. My questions is how do I know which color to bring in?

I know EFT is most effective when I am really specific about what I am tapping on, but I am really having a problem with that. I am wondering how to approach a new client. She is interested in EFT, but says that she is only willing give her issue two sessions, maybe three tops, since she had been in therapy for years. She says she doesn't want to start any long term therapy. I saw her this last Friday for the first time and we only talked (and when I say "we" talked I mean she only talked). You talk about multiple issues? This is the queen. I have a session with her next Friday. I don't even know where to start. If this were your client, where would you start?
